Western Hills wacky is back baby!! (2/12/24)

 Hey everyone!!! How's was y'alls week?? In case you can't tell from the title, I'm reporting back with another Western Hills wacky!! We had a really busy week and I honestly can't remember most of it, but imma try, so here we go!!

Highlights: 
☆We had a some good member meals this week!! So that was nice and all the members are really great too!
☆I tried a Taiwanese dessert! I wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. It was funny though cause we had it right after we had some Mexican for dinner! Lol
☆We love the Titensors!! The Titensors are this really cute couple in our ward! He's a chef and he made us some fire pizza for dinner!! Then Sister Titensor and Sister Eidemiller got along really well, and Brother Titensor and I sat there and looked at them like they were crazy, (which they kinda are,  but it's a good crazy) cause they kept feeding off of each other. But it was literally so fun!!
☆We had Exchanges!! They were fun! Some finding, some lessons, some card games, a fight breaking out at the gas station and the police had to come help calm everyone down, ya know, all the everyday wacky that happens. Lol, seriously though, the police really did come in on that really really loud fight. 
☆We walked into Kroger, and this guy behind us yelled 'Bang!' really loudly and Sister Eidemiller thought that someone came in with a gun. But actually the guy was just telling a story really, animated I guess. Idk, but I was kinda funny to see Sister Eidemiller freak out for a sec. He did apologize for scaring her though. Anyway...
☆We got to host Sister Young this week! She extended her mission for as long as she could, then she had to go back home, so she stayed with us. It was an adventure! She was having trouble backing up all her mission pics and making sure that she could get them once home, so we were helping her do that, but it took us like 3-3 1/2 hours. We were supposed to take her out to dinner, but we didn't have time, so we ordered a pizza and had it delivered to the church. It was actually really fun! Then during all this, she had a baptism to zoom in on, and we had a lesson. And during our lesson, (it was over video call) the aps walked in looking for the mints they have in the mission office! 🤦‍♀️🤣 So we got the mints for them, and had them say hi to our friends.
☆Saturday we had to wake up really early to help Sister Young get ready to be picked up to go home. And while we were outside saying goodbye and putting her luggage in the mission van, it was rainstorm-ing! And we saw purple lighting!!! It was gorgeous!!! 

I just realized that I never told y'all how to pronounce Sister Eidemiller. Its Ida-miller. That's how you say it. Also we have our district activity today, so it should be fun! Also we have zone conference this weekend with Elder Hainie from the 70 coming!!! So exciting things coming to the OCM!! 

Friends:
☆Shainiece and Taylor, well Taylor got his truck back and Shainiece will be coming back here!! So hopefully they'll start coming to church!!
☆Larry, we taught him the word of wisdom this week, and he told us that he smoked and drank tea, coffee,and sometimes drank, but not really. And he's been doing sooooo good following it since!!! He's cut way down on his smoking, is drinking orange juice instead of tea, and told us that if it's God's will, he'll do it!! King!! 

Spiritual thought:
Well this week I've been thinking about how grateful I am for knowing what I know about the gospel, and the fact that I've been raised in it. And because of that, I now have the opportunity to teach those things to someone else, and help them come to know those things as well! 

Well I think that's it for this week! And we have exciting things to come, so stay tuned! (I sound like a TV show 🤣) anyway, have a great week and I will write again soon!

  Howdy all! I hope you had an exciting week! I know I did, so let's get started!! Highlights: ☆Tuesday we had district council because transfers are on Thursdays now instead of Fridays. So fun! We had a good quickish council and then Elder Reynolds had a surprise for us. Sister Lilya was getting ready to go home, and apparently when a missionary goes home he does this. We played Jepordy! Yep! It was actually really fun! Sadly I can't remember who won and who lost, but I do remember it was really, really close.  ☆After that we had district lunch!! We went to El Toro, which is a Mexican place, and it was good!  ☆Sadly after that I got sick. Not from the restaurant, I just did. Monday I went to bed with a small scratch in my throat and when I woke up Tuesday morning, it was worse. Sad day.   Hey, howdy, hi everyone!!! I hope that you guys had a fabulous week! I know I did and it absolutely flew by! And it was good! So ya ready to hear all about it? Good, cause here we go!! Highlights: ☆We found another 5 friends this week! Through much labor, patience and faith, the Lord is pouring His blessings out on us, and I'm so thankful!  ☆We also had 5/5 members at our lessons! Also thank you Heavenly Father!! ☆We found Service!! We're at a food pantry!! It's a slow season rn as it's for elementary schools, but their letting us come in about once a week to help out! ☆Exchanges were good.  ☆District council was fun! Apparently we've all gotten bashed this week, rip us. But at least we're learning from it! ☆We've been having a good amount of lessons again!!  Hey, hey, hey everyone!!! Another week has flown by and slowly! Idk if that makes sense, so basically it was another fast week with a few slow days! I hope that you all had a fantastic week! And I hope that your not skeletons on the ground beacuse you melted from the the heat! (Hehehehehehe! 🤣🤣) But seriously I hope that your not dying from the heat too much! Anyways, let's read about the week, shall we? Highlights: ☆ZONE CONFERENCE!!!!! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!! It was definitely the thing I needed and it did not disappoint!! ☆I opened my ketchup at Zone conference by myself!! (I know that doesn't sound like an accomplishment, but it is. Every Zone conference I have to ask my comp for help to open it, because my hands are slick from opening my sandwich and pulling it out.)
