Catholic or Jehovahs witnesses?

 Hey all!!! How's it going?!? How was the week? Hope y'all aren't dying of heat yet! (lol) I'm not dead from the heat and humidity yet, but it's not quite August yet, and I still have another summer here, so we'll see! 


First I wanna say a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have been praying for David! I'm really don't like saying this, but unfortunately we had to stop teaching David because of some things going on in his life right now, so he can't be baptized:(((((( And I had to tell him he couldn't be baptized yet. It was sad, I thought us telling him that we couldn't teach him anymore would be the worst, but no, it was when I told him that he couldn't be baptized yet. It was really sad. 

In better news this week wasn't super terrible! (Lol) it was actually really good. Not a ton happened this week, but here are some story worthy things that happened!

This week we've had extra miles, so we've been trying to use them by going to some further parts of our area! So we've been doing a lot of member visits this week, as we've been trying to see who's inactive. It's been really fun though. We have a ton of fun in the car, and then sometimes proceed to get lost and have to turn around some where! But we also get to drive through nice neighborhoods and see really pretty houses, so it's all good! 


Others then that there hasn't been to much going on this week, but here are some funny highlights of the week:

The 1st night that we went 'exploring' our area, we found an inactive member and she talked with us for a while. And we lost track of time so we got home a bit late, and because we had been traveling for a good majority of the night I was really tired. So when we pulled up into our parking spot at home and Sister Hansen went to do miles, she thought that we had gone over!!! We were so stressed out and because I was tired I almost started crying because I thought that we couldn't go to church on Sunday! But we didn't do miles wrong and it all turned out OK. It sucked that night, but it's really funny now.

We were doing door knocking the other day, and we knocked this door, and when the guy opened the door and we invited him to church, he immediately us "Jehovahs Witnesses?" And we said no its the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. He was catholic though so he said no. But I walked away laughing a little bit because I knew that that was going to happen a lot while I'm out here. 
Also while we're on the note of Jehovahs Witnesses,  we were on exchanges last weekend, and while I was inviting people to church with us, this lady came up to me and started thanking me and commending me for what I was doing. She was a Jehovahs Witness, and she was saying how she kind of knew what we were going through because she also had to go out on the streets and tell people about her religion. But it was really cool.

Last night we were doing some more member visits and we went to visit this older lady, and she lived in a home. So as Sister Hansen tried to open the door to get in, she set off the alarm! Then she felt so bad but the worker was so nice about it and literally just brushed it off. Then she saw that we were Sisters, and she asked us if we were catholic,  and Sister Hansen said yes! But her brain and mine, didn't register fast enough that she had said catholic. So now I guess we're catholic, lol! 

We went to Wendy's for lunch this week, and I ordered what I normally would get, and the gut at the drive thru called me boring, and tried to get me to change up my order a bit! I didn't but It was hilarious to argue with this guy over my food! It was a great pick me up!

I had areally cool experience this week. This week we had gone over to a members house, and we had some time afterward. So we prayed about what to do, and Sister Hansen and I both felt that we should go downtown. So we did, and while we were there, we invited this lady to church and started talking to her. She was having a really hard night, but after we talked to her no one else was interested. So I know that that night we were there solely for her. 

Anyway that about all I got this week, maybe more next week. Hope that yall have a great week and stay cool!!

  Howdy all! I hope you had an exciting week! I know I did, so let's get started!! Highlights: ☆Tuesday we had district council because transfers are on Thursdays now instead of Fridays. So fun! We had a good quickish council and then Elder Reynolds had a surprise for us. Sister Lilya was getting ready to go home, and apparently when a missionary goes home he does this. We played Jepordy! Yep! It was actually really fun! Sadly I can't remember who won and who lost, but I do remember it was really, really close.  ☆After that we had district lunch!!   Hey, howdy, hi everyone!!! I hope that you guys had a fabulous week! I know I did and it absolutely flew by! And it was good! So ya ready to hear all about it? Good, cause here we go!! Highlights: ☆We found another 5 friends this week! Through much labor, patience and faith, the Lord is pouring His blessings out on us, and I'm so thankful!  ☆We also had 5/5 members at our lessons! Also thank you Heavenly Father!! ☆We found Service!! We're at a food pantry!! It's a slow season rn as it's for elementary schools, but their letting us come in about once a week to help out! ☆Exchanges were good.  ☆District council was fun! Apparently we've all gotten bashed this week, rip us. But at least we're learning from it! ☆We've been having a good amount of lessons again!!  Hey, hey, hey everyone!!! Another week has flown by and slowly! Idk if that makes sense, so basically it was another fast week with a few slow days! I hope that you all had a fantastic week! And I hope that your not skeletons on the ground beacuse you melted from the the heat! (Hehehehehehe! 🤣🤣) But seriously I hope that your not dying from the heat too much! Anyways, let's read about the week, shall we? Highlights: ☆ZONE CONFERENCE!!!!! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!! It was definitely the thing I needed and it did not disappoint!! ☆I opened my ketchup at Zone conference by myself!! (I know that doesn't sound like an accomplishment, but it is. Every Zone conference I have to ask my comp for help to open it, because my hands are slick from opening my sandwich and pulling it out.)
