It's finally real! (Week 4)

Helloooooo all!!! How was the week? Mine was a bit crazy, so here we go!!

Wednesday we said goodbye to the mtc, and our district :((( Hope to see you soon 10-G.
Thursday we had to get up very early, finished packing. And then left to catch our plane. The flight to Ohio was good, a little bumpy because of some turbulence, but after that it was smooth. We landed in Ohio, got our group together,(or so we thought as we later discovered that one of the sisters who came with us wasn't in our group) but it's all good, because she found us. Met the mission president, his wife, and assistants, and then off we went to the mission home.
Fun fact: the Cincinnati Airport is actually in Kentucky, so we had to drive to Cincinnati.  We stayed at the mission home the first night, and then Friday morning we were off to get assigned to trainers and areas! All the sisters in my district that came to Cincinnati with me,(sisters Dahle, Wilkes, and Thayne) are all in different areas, spread out across the mission. Anyone want to guess where I went? And drumroll...
I'm In INDIANA!!!!!
That's right! I'm in a small town called Lawrenceburg, and it used to be an elders area, but then they just changed it to a sisters area. So my trainer/comp is new tot the area as well. My trainers name is Sister Hansen, and she is nice. We're both just trying to figure out the area, ward, and people. We'll be here for at least 12 weeks so we got some time.
Even though we just got here, there is a guy named David that the elders had been teaching, and he's already on date to be baptized!! So please be praying for him, that he can continue to want to be baptized and have the faith to keep going!

Funny stories:
Because we live where elders used to, we have the most random things in our apartment. Nerf guns, games, a weird bird thing, and just random things.
I'm allowed to listen to Disney music. Nothing romantic of course, but it's still fun to listen to it. And we can also listen to uplifting christen music, so that's nice.
On Wednesday we're having a pancake breakfast,  and I'll get to see my friends who live in my zone, and I'm excited for that.

Spiritual thought:
When I first got here on Friday, it had been a long day, and my mission hadn't started out the way I had previously thought. So I was just having a hard time. The next day I had all these hymn lyrics pop in my head, my dad text me a scripture. And my grandpa emailed me a day after. And it reminded me of how much the lord is aware of me, loves me, and is looking out for me! If you ever feel lonely, your not alone. The lord loves you, and is always looking out for your best interests.

Alright I know that this was a long read, and sorry for that. But here's my pictures so far. And I will send a Google photo link so yall can see my album.
Until next week,
Love Sister Alex Hersom!<3<3<3

*Here is a picture of where her area is in conjunction with the other major cities for reference.
