The girl who loves to sing isn't singing?! Did we fall off the earth?😱🎤

 Hey all!! Sorry that I didn't have a bunch of time last p-day, I had to figure out a new time to talk to my family, since our missionary standards changed. Then we got busy cleaning, and lots of other stuff. But I hope that you had a fantastic week, and that's y'all aren't dead from the heat yet! Lol! Well I'm sure you're all dying to know what happened this week so let's jump in!


Monday: teaching!!
Monday we made a new friend! His name is Caden, he is a teen and is sooo Awesome! As a teenager I thought that he would be a bit more closed off, but he was participating in our discussion and really listening to what we were teaching! His mom is a member but his dad is not, but they want to come to church with him to help him have a good life! 

Tuesday: Zone conference!!
Zone conference was a blast!! I got to see Sister Dahle and Sister Thayne, (My Mtc district friends) and they are doing sooooooo good!! And everything that was talked about in Zone conference was so good! I got a fist bump from one of the APs (assistant to the president) for doing a great job teaching in our role plays!! (We role play as missionaries ro practice teaching people the best that we can.) We played Jeopardy at the end of Zone conference! It was district against district, so we (Florence District) played against the Crittenden district! We ended up tying them, but it was still so fun! 
So I got a call from our vehicle coordinator a few weeks ago saying that I finally had all my stuff in so I can drive, which is great! But he forgot to bring it to Zone conference,  so I still don't have it :( Hopefully he mails it to me soon!!

Wednesday: Visits
So Wednesday our ward relief society president took us to lunch and then we went to visit some sisters in the ward, and it was so good! For lunch we finally tried the Lawrenceburger! When I first got here, all the elders told us that we had to try the Lawrenceburger. But there're open weird hours and days, but we finally got to try it Wednesday! It was good, but the Riverwatch was still better. Then we went visited some Sisters in our ward who were less active, and a few of our relief society presidents friends. It was fun! 

Thursday we visited a member so I could practice teaching,  and that went super well! Friday we did our regular weekly planning. 

Saturday: Catholic birthday party!!
So let me explain real fast. So on Wednesday when we were with our relief society president, we told her about us going to a catholic church. And she said that instead of going g on Sunday, so we don't miss our meetings that we have to go to, to go with them on a Saturday. So we texted Steve and asked if we could go on Saturday,  he said that (the day before yesterday) he had stuff, but that we could go this upcoming Saturday! So now we're going this upcoming Saturday! But this past Saturday Steve had a party at his house. And he invited us to go! So we did and it was a blast!! It was a little family get together for one of his nieces birthday!! So we went to a catholic family birthday party! It was so fun! The whole family was very welcoming to me and Sister Hansen,  and we also played corn hole! I'm proud to say that Steve and I beat Sister Hansen and Steve's brother! But we lost the next round. But that's OK, bc it was still a blast!!

Friends:
So we're still teaching Derek. He came to church yesterday and he's doing great!
Caden, they want to have us over this week so we're excited!
And then we have a few others that were trying to set a lesson with, but the work is starting to pick up a little Herr in Lawrenceburg!!:)))

Spiritual thought:
I wrote a Facebook post for our Facebook mission page. (I'll share the post when it gets posted so y'all can see it) and I wrote about my experience with the atonement of Jesus Christ. The atonement of Jesus Christ is for everyone! Everyone!! And bc of Jesus Christ's atonement he knows exactly what we're going through and exactly how to help us. I want to encourage each of you to turn to Jesus Christ when you feel like no one understands, bc he does. And He can help you overcome everything!

Congratulations to those of you who made it to the end!!🎉🎊🥳 (lol) I know that my emails are long, but I hope that y'all like the stories!! Anyway, I do love getting your emails and I do always read them. I'm sorry of I didn't respond,  but know that I did rad them and do appreciate them!! I'll respond this week!   Howdy all! I hope you had an exciting week! I know I did, so let's get started!! Highlights: ☆Tuesday we had district council because transfers are on Thursdays now instead of Fridays. So fun! We had a good quickish council and then Elder Reynolds had a surprise for us. Sister Lilya was getting ready to go home, and apparently when a missionary goes home he does this. We played Jepordy! Yep! It was actually really fun! Sadly I can't remember who won and who lost, but I do remember it was really, really close.  ☆After that we had district lunch!!   Hey, howdy, hi everyone!!! I hope that you guys had a fabulous week! I know I did and it absolutely flew by! And it was good! So ya ready to hear all about it? Good, cause here we go!! Highlights: ☆We found another 5 friends this week! Through much labor, patience and faith, the Lord is pouring His blessings out on us, and I'm so thankful!  ☆We also had 5/5 members at our lessons! Also thank you Heavenly Father!! ☆We found Service!! We're at a food pantry!! It's a slow season rn as it's for elementary schools, but their letting us come in about once a week to help out! ☆Exchanges were good.  ☆District council was fun! Apparently we've all gotten bashed this week, rip us. But at least we're learning from it! ☆We've been having a good amount of lessons again!!  Hey, hey, hey everyone!!! Another week has flown by and slowly! Idk if that makes sense, so basically it was another fast week with a few slow days! I hope that you all had a fantastic week! And I hope that your not skeletons on the ground beacuse you melted from the the heat! (Hehehehehehe! 🤣🤣) But seriously I hope that your not dying from the heat too much! Anyways, let's read about the week, shall we? Highlights: ☆ZONE CONFERENCE!!!!! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!! It was definitely the thing I needed and it did not disappoint!! ☆I opened my ketchup at Zone conference by myself!! (I know that doesn't sound like an accomplishment, but it is. Every Zone conference I have to ask my comp for help to open it, because my hands are slick from opening my sandwich and pulling it out.)
