'I've been out for 6 months...' wait, WHAT?!? (12/4/23)

 I'm back!!!! Did you miss me? Well maybe you're back, cause I've been here for a bit. Lol, I thought it'd be fun to try a new way to start my email. Anyway, had a pretty good week, honestly not too much, but still enough for an email, so here we go!


Highlights:
☆Our district activity was so fun! We mostly played pickle ball the whole time, but still so good. I came in 3rd in one round, of around the world, but that's only because all the elders wore themselves out in earlier rounds. 😂
☆We got to decorate Nehemiah!! 🤩 They had us help decorate for Christmas on Tuesday, so we were there for a good 3 hours decorate, setting up and decorating the tree, stuff like that. But it was sooo fun!!
☆We visited some people in the ward, and they had a cute puppy!! He also had a 1969 Camero, it's orange and man is it cool!!! 
☆We had interviews this week, and they were good. So yeah! President was asking me about not being home for the holidays, I said right now the hardest thing is not being able to do all the decorating thay I would like to. He said that we could totally help members decorate!! So I'm super excited!🤩🎄
☆After interviews we had district lunch!! It was good!!
☆I asked Elder Gertsch how he felt about being out for almost 6 months, (he came out at the same time I did) and he tried to tell me that we're not at 6 months because the MTC doesn't count! Then of course everyone at the table said that it did, so yeah!
☆The Steiningers gave us a ride to, and from interviews, and Sister Braun and I sang basically the while way home. We told them that it was their own little concert. They liked it, so yay! Also on the way there, we saw a petrified raccoon in the middle of the road. So yeah!
☆ Friday we went to this Christmas event thing. Sadly it wasn't a huge turnout though. It was fun, just would've been more fun with more people. 
☆We got to help a member decorate her Bed and Breakfast for Christmas!!! It was so fun!! Then she took us out for lunch!! So fun. And good! 
☆Saturday we went to another Christmas event and that was definitely bigger, and super fun!! 
☆Old me is back! Saturday I went splat on the sidewalk, and I got the bruises to prove it. Some nice lady asked me if I was ok, after I realized that I fell, so that was nice! 
☆There was a baptism!! Not ours, but the Creole Elders had one yesterday!! And let me tell you, baptisms in Creole are really cool! 
☆The elders have started prankkng us by putting pics of Jesus on the car. So this week when Elder Dujardin saw that we had tucked in their mirrors again, he walked over to our car, while we were in it, and stuck a Jesus pic on our back windshield! 🤣🤣 
☆So we found a new way to prank them! We put Jesus pics on their mirrors and then tucked them in! There was one on the back windshield too. We'll see what they think! 🤣
☆We had some pretty good lessons this week!
☆Charles came to church for a bit!!

☆Charles came to church!! Let's go!!!🥳🥳🤩🔥 We'll see what happens next, because we're still trying ti help him, so.
☆We had an awesome lesson with Gerda this week. She's been super busy, and not really having time to read the Book of Mormon, so we did a Book of Mormon read with her. And showed her how to listen to the scriptures while doing other things. So hopefully!!
☆We had an awesome lesson with Isaiah this week too! He's a 10 year old kid who's been ready to be baptized for a bit now. Sadly his guardian hasn't been bringing him to church because she was working night shift. (She is a member as well, she's just been working night shift) well thankfully She got a new job, and hopefully they'll start giving her Sundays off.

Like I said, we have more friends, but these are the most exciting ones right now.

Spiritual thought:
It's the holiday season!! You know what that means!! Time to put Christ in Christmas!! But how do we do that? Christmas is a busy time of year for basically everyone, so how do we all find time and ways to put Christ at the center of our Christmas? Well, something that I've had the opportunity to do recently is spend more time communicating with and being in the spirit. It's been really cool as my spiritual experiences have gone up, and I've been learning a lot! So how do you feel the spirit? I want to invite you to find out how you feel the spirit. And then He can help you find a way to put Christ back in Christmas the best you and your family know how too!

Ok my wonderful friends and family, I think that's it for this week. Nothing super exciting, but not boring either! I hope that you all have a wonderful week, and a great start to your Christmas season!! I'll wrote more next week!

  Howdy all! I hope you had an exciting week! I know I did, so let's get started!! Highlights: ☆Tuesday we had district council because transfers are on Thursdays now instead of Fridays. So fun! We had a good quickish council and then Elder Reynolds had a surprise for us. Sister Lilya was getting ready to go home, and apparently when a missionary goes home he does this. We played Jepordy! Yep! It was actually really fun! Sadly I can't remember who won and who lost, but I do remember it was really, really close.  ☆After that we had district lunch!!   Hey, howdy, hi everyone!!! I hope that you guys had a fabulous week! I know I did and it absolutely flew by! And it was good! So ya ready to hear all about it? Good, cause here we go!! Highlights: ☆We found another 5 friends this week! Through much labor, patience and faith, the Lord is pouring His blessings out on us, and I'm so thankful!  ☆We also had 5/5 members at our lessons! Also thank you Heavenly Father!! ☆We found Service!! We're at a food pantry!! It's a slow season rn as it's for elementary schools, but their letting us come in about once a week to help out! ☆Exchanges were good.  ☆District council was fun! Apparently we've all gotten bashed this week, rip us. But at least we're learning from it! ☆We've been having a good amount of lessons again!!  Hey, hey, hey everyone!!! Another week has flown by and slowly! Idk if that makes sense, so basically it was another fast week with a few slow days! I hope that you all had a fantastic week! And I hope that your not skeletons on the ground beacuse you melted from the the heat! (Hehehehehehe! 🤣🤣) But seriously I hope that your not dying from the heat too much! Anyways, let's read about the week, shall we? Highlights: ☆ZONE CONFERENCE!!!!! It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!! It was definitely the thing I needed and it did not disappoint!! ☆I opened my ketchup at Zone conference by myself!! (I know that doesn't sound like an accomplishment, but it is. Every Zone conference I have to ask my comp for help to open it, because my hands are slick from opening my sandwich and pulling it out.)
