There's way too many names I came up with for this one (1/1/24)
Heyo!!!!! What's up all!! Sister Hersom is back baby!! Whoop whoop!!! First and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Here's to 2024!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎊🎊🍾🍾 Anyway, this week was absolutly insane and fun and just the regular Western Hills wacky!! And honestly it feels like so much happened, but then almost nothing happened at the same time. Although ther are some highlights so, here we go!!
Highlights:
☆Sister Richmond is AMAZING!!!! Love her so much!!!
☆We went to a members house for dinner and it was amazing!! They had a little one year old who wanted me to hold so I could play with him 🥹 Ultimately the missionary in me won over and I did really good at trying not to just scoop him up. Thankfully both parents had served missions only a few years before, so they knew and understood.
☆I got to see elder Dujardin this week as the French district has district council the same time that we do, so that was cool.
☆We got to help pack commissary for other missionaries! It's was so fun! I know what your all getting at zone conference 😈😂
☆I saw president at church on Sunday and I was shocked until I remembered that he's in this ward too!🤦♀️ Oh boy, this is going to take some getting used too
☆RONALD GOT BAPTIZED!!!!🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩😍😍🌊🌊
☆Ronald is a short, very sweet, blonde guy, and his friend group looks like they belong to a biker gang, it's hilarious 😂
Friends:
☆Ronald is now a new member, so he no longer counts as a teaching Friend, because he's a new member friend
☆We met a person over cold texting and they said that they would like a church tour, so hopefully we'll be able to do that this week!
Spiritual thought:
As it's a new year, obviously I've been thinking about goals! This week on the radio, the dj was saying that people focus on one big yearly goal, but they should be breaking it up into monthly goals. That way you can do if, and it feels more attainable! So this year I have one big goal, but I'm breaking it up into one part of it that I can focus on every month. It makes it feel so much better and sooo much more attainable. And as always, when you make and start to work on your goals, remember to involve Heavenly Father so he can help you attain them!
Well I really don't have much else to say, so Happy New Year! Hope that you've had a great start to the new year, and that it continues to be great!! Have a great week!!
Love Sister Alex Hersom!
