☆We've had lots of member lessons and slightly more dinners recently, and it's been good to help the members and connect with them more!
☆We had a really great Zone conference with Elder Haynie!! He said some really great stuff that definitely got me thinking! And on top of that, I got to see all my past comps! Except Sister Braun who's in the Dayton zone! (I mean good gravy Sister Braun, like seriously!🙄🤣😉🫰)
☆We had our district activity on Monday! We went bowling! And it was so fun! I didn't do great, but it's all good!
☆We got asked to make a video for our zone conference trainings! So we made one and worked on it and sent it off. Then they told us that they asked multiple missionaries, so then the APs were going to watch them and pick one. So we'll see
☆We helped pack commissary!! That was super fun! And we got to see some other sisters!!

(These are our most progressing friends rn, we have more, and when they progress a bit more, I'll put them in here.:))
Spiritual thought:
The thought came to me recently, "the faith to listen." Elder Wilford W Andersen gave a BYUI devo called: "The Faith to Reap" (its really good, we had to read it for a zone conferencewe had a few months ago) anyway, in this talk, he talks about 2 kinds of faith. 1: The faith to try, and 2: The faith to reap. The faith to try is, well just as it sounds, but you only try and don't really go much further than that. The faith to reap, however, goes beyond trying, and is the faith to keep trying, and to preserve through the hard times, and come up with solutions to problems and such. Now how does the Faith to listen play into this? If we have the faith to try, and then go past that and have the faith to reap, the next part should be the faith to listen. This is when we're reaping and doing our best, and also asking Heavenly Father for help. Now in doing so, we need to have the faith to listen. To look and listen for the promptings of the Holy Ghost. Because as we're trying our best, we also have to constantly being listening for the Holy Ghost and the ideas that come from him. This is something that I've been working on this week, and I encourage you to try it as well. And as you do this, I know that you will be able to recognize the Holy Ghost, and the hand of the Lord more in your life!!
Well my amazing friends and family, I think that's about it this week!! Nothing to exciting, but nothing short of fun and a missionary adventure!! I love you all! Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope that you have a fantastic week!!
Love Sister Alex Hersom!
