Happy Thanksgiving! (11/25/24)

Hello, hello everyone! I hope you've all had a fantastic week!! I hope it was filled with things to be grateful for and blessings in abundance!! This week was so fast-slow, it was crazy! Let's get into it!!

Into it:
☆Wednesday we had interviews with President Rasmussen! They went well! Sister Rasmussen also pulled us aside and talked to us! 🥰 I had no idea why she wanted to talk to me until she said that President always gets to talk to us and she wanted a turn too! I love them!❤️🥰 My interviews went well! And President told me we'd set up a time for my departing interview, so not my last one!
☆Thursday we went to the farm! It was good! They had someone else feeding the animals so we winterized some stalls and pens! It was fun!
☆It also snowed for the first time on Thursday!! Yay for snow!! I'm excited because of the change in weather. It's cold and that means the holidays!!🥳🥳
☆Friday we had exchanges! They were pretty fun! We had a member meal with the parents of some member who live in my ward! Crazy!
☆Church was good on Sunday! We had some friends show up so that was good!

Quotes:
Unfortunately I didn't write any again. Sorry guys! 😥

Friends:
☆Debbie is doing good! She's back in New York for Thanksgiving with family!
☆Kathy is good. She didn't come to church yesterday though...
☆Kiryn is also doing good, her member friends are out town so her ride wasn't here. That's OK, we'll have a lesson this next week!
☆James we met with this week and he came to church again! Yay!

Spiritual thought:
Well it's Thanksgiving this week! So you can probably guess what my thought is this week. Yep! Gratitude! Being grateful is such a life changer! When I was in Beavercreek and we had to walk beacuse we were low on miles and it was hot, I would stop for a minute and list 5 things I was grateful for. It never changed my circumstances, but it did change my outlook! It always made me feel better and gave me a better attitude! So this week I would encourage you to find 5 different things every day that you're grateful for!

Well my friends, that's all for now! We have district activity today! We're doing chopped! So it'll be fun! I hope you all have a fantastic week and a happy Thanksgiving!!
Love,
Sister Alex Hersom
